Bernard William Durston

Suddenly on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the St. Boniface General Hospital,  Bernard William Durston, beloved husband of Janet Durston of Dauphin, MB. Passed away at the age of 76 years.

Bernard was born on January 11,1940, son of the late Henry and Elsie May Durston of Dauphin, Mb.

Bernard leaves two sisters; Ruth Boughen (Bob) and five nieces and nephews; Barbara, Brent, Glen, Judy and Bruce who passed away as a young man and Edith Webb (Jerry) and five nieces and nephews; Nancy, James, Miriam, Gerald and Daniel. John Murray was deceased as a baby.

All the nieces and nephews loved Bernard as he was always full of fun which the children loved to be around.

Following school, Bernard took up the responsibility of farming at an early age as his father passed away when he was a young teenager.  Bernard became a very efficient farmer and took excellent care of his machinery which he knew inside and out.  As well, his farm land was always in top notch condition.

Bernard was well known and respected throughout the Dauphin community by all who knew him and was a tireless worker for Parkside Gospel Church and the Dauphin Bible Camp. He will be sadly missed by relatives and friends alike.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Grace Bible Church,1910 Mountain Road, Dauphin Manitoba.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
