William (Bill) Ross

Peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Douglas Campbell Lodge, Portage la Prairie, MB., Bill Ross passed away at the age of 82 years.

Bill was born in Toronto, Ontario and lived in England for a number of years.

In 1979 he moved to Winnipeg where he lived until moving to Portage la Prairie in 1996.  For the past six years, Bill lived at the Douglas Campbell Lodge.

He is survived by one son Lloyd Ross of Portage la Prairie, two granddaughters Amy (Justin) Breen and Maegan Ross, both of Winnipeg, and one great-granddaughter, Taylor Breen of  Winnipeg.

At Bill’s request, no formal funeral service will be held.  Cremation has taken place.

The family wish to express their deep appreciation for the care and compassion Bill received from the staff at Douglas Campbell Lodge.
