It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Vera Mae Drabot.
Vera was born in Oakville MB October 27, 1936. Vera is predeceased by her parents Walter (Smokey) and Kay Polson, Husband Steve Drabot and son Michael (Mike) Drabot. Left to cherish her loving memory is her daughter Sandra Drabot, special niece Darlene Stewart, and many nieces and nephews. Vera had one special friend that she went to high school with and remained friends for over 65 years and talked twice a day with (Helen Strelic). Mom always cherished talks with Helen. Many thanks to the staff at the Rehab Unit in the Portage District General Hospital. Mom loved her many trips to Hawaii and cruises she took with family and friends.
Cremation has taken place as per wishes and no formal funeral will be held. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Aloha mom until we meet again. Miss and love you to the moon and back. We know you are holding hands with dad and Michael.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Portage District Hospital Foundation in Vera's memory.
