Thelma Otelia (Swanson) White

Peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Lion's Prairie Manor, Portage la Prairie, MB, Thelma White passed away at the age of 94 years.

Thelma is reunited with her husband, Ivan who passed on December 25, 2001 and her son, Bruce who passed just 6 short months ago on February 4, 2018.  Left to cherish her memory is her daughter and son-in-law Bonnie and Jake Nickel of Portage la Prairie, MB.  Thelma is also survived by her grandson Allen White, her sister-in-law Marlene Swanson and many cherished nieces, nephews and friends.

Thelma was predeceased by her parents, Carl Hugo and Brita Elise Swanson, her beloved sister Edith Kutcy, and her brothers Arthur and Eric Swanson, as well as 5 brothers-in-law, 7 sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation for the care Thelma received at the Lion’s Prairie Manor and the care and compassion we received from Ron Moffit and staff of Ron Moffit Memorial Services.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in the White's Funeral Home, Neepawa, MB Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Neepawa.  A reception will follow the internment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Manitoba Alzheimer’s Society 120 Donald St, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or to a charity of one’s choice.
