It is with deep love and gentle remembrance that we share the passing of Robert Laczko on November 3, 2025, at the age of 63. Robert passed peacefully at Brandon Hospital, surrounded by care and compassion. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the ICU nurses and doctors for the dignity, comfort, and kindness they provided in his final days.
Robert lived a full and joyful life, defined not by circumstance but by connection, laughter, and a heart that embraced everyone around him. Though he did not have biological family, Robert’s world was rich with love. His friends, his housemates—who became his true family—and the dedicated staff at Kin Glen Home were blessed to share in his journey. He was also a cherished member of the ARC community, where he found belonging, purpose, and friendship.
Robert had a gentle soul and a happy-go-lucky spirit. He loved life deeply and found joy in simple moments—good food, long scenic drives, a warm cup of coffee, art, and time spent in nature. He had a special fondness for animals and a sense of wonder that reminded everyone around him to appreciate the beauty in each day. His smile and kind presence brought warmth to every room he entered.
We also extend special recognition to Lisa Lacroix and her family, who held a meaningful and cherished place in Robert’s heart.
Robert’s life was beautiful—filled with friendship, laughter, and the steadfast care of those fortunate enough to know him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his Kin Glen family, his peers, his support teams, and all who shared in his journey.
Rest peacefully, Robert. Your joy, kindness, and gentle spirit will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
