SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
It is with great sorrow that we announce the very unexpected passing of Richard James Overton at the age of 42 years old.
He leaves to mourn his mother Elaine Overton, his sister Christina and niece Danika, grandmother Verna Emberly, uncle Sheldon, uncle Brian, aunt Karen, his uncle Brian Overton, aunt Doreen Hooper, as well as extended family, friends, and cousins. Richard was predeceased by his father Larry Overton in 1990, his stillborn sister Maureen, grandparents Bruce Emberly, Margret and Victor Klyne, and Roy Overton Sr.
There will be a private family Graveside Service at Hillside Cemetery, Portage la Prairie, MB on Friday, July 7th, with Wilma Shirriff officiating.
A Come and Go Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 8th, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Gainsborough Community Club, R.M. of Portage la Prairie, MB.
