Mary Verona Dubois

Peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Portage General Hospital Mary Dubois passed into Heaven at the age of 93 years with her family at her side.

Mary was born in Portage on September 14, 1926, daughter of the late Mary and Howard Nickels.

Following her marriage to the late Norman Roy Dubois they lived in Portage la Prairie and for a time in Elm Creek.

Mary loved the Lord and for many years her life was a testimony to her faith.

Predeceased by her husband in 1976, one daughter Elaine in infancy, her son Norman, daughter Laurie and granddaughter Melissa.  Mary is survived by her children Roy, Dawn, Verona, Rhona, Debbie, Bernie, Bill, Rick, Racheal, Roger and Sam.  Also 34 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at River Road Gospel Hall, 350 River Road, Portage la Prairie. Following the reception, interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
