Peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the Lion’s Prairie Manor, Marcel J. Flamand passed away at the age of 77 years.
Marcel was born and raised at St. Ambroise where he received his education. Since the age of 15 he was an active commercial fisherman, which he learned from his father Alex and brothers. For many years he worked for the P.F.R. A. Ranch and at the age of 33 years he started his own business, Flamand Roofing.
Marcel loved and enjoyed horses, trail rides and just hitching up his team and going for a ride. He and his horse friends had many good times together. His family is not sure which he loved more, fishing or driving his team.
He leaves to mourn his passing; his wife Leona, daughter Marcy-Lynn, grandsons Troy (Danielle) and Avery; and his siter Emma Lang of Owen Sound, ON. He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Rose Flamand, brothers Oza, Edward, Bob, and George and sisters Elmira, Leona, Dora, Dehlia, Bertha and Linda.
“This is the darkest day of our lives.
Rest in Peace in our Lord’s arms. We will miss you.”
Your family, loved one’s and friends.
