Loraine Pearl (Pierson) Jadeske

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Loraine Jadeske (nee Pierson), at the age of 66, on Monday March 14th, 2022 at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.

Loraine was predeceased by her beloved husband Clifford Jadeske, her parents Franklin and Lillian Pierson, her sister Maureen Bowden and Maureen’s four sons.

She leaves to mourn her daughter Laura (Eric) and son Christopher (Catherine). She will be missed by her grandchildren Anna, Meghan, Connor and Kyla who affectionately called her Grandma LadyBug. She will also be missed by her brothers Earl (Mary), Shane, her niece, nephews and many close friends.

Loraine was born in Iserlohn, Germany and attended many schools throughout the years as her family moved with the military, graduating from Arthur Meighen High School in Portage la Prairie. In 1977, she met the love of her life and they were married shortly thereafter. Cliff and Loraine settled in Portage la Prairie to raise their family. Loraine enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing, camping and spending time with her family at the farm. As a member of the Golden Plains Baptist Church, Loraine participated in the hospitality and caring missions of the church and made lifelong friendships.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the many doctors, nurses and staff for their care of Loraine as well as the many friends especially Denise, Susan and Terry for their love and support over the years.

A Memorial Service for Loraine will take place at the Golden Plains Baptist Church, 1201 Tupper St. N, Portage la Prairie, MB, Wednesday, March 16th, 2022 at 7:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.

There will be a Private Family Burial on Thursday, March 17th, at Hillside Cemetery, Portage la Prairie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ronald Moffit Memorial Services of Portage la Prairie.
