Leslie "Les" John Fedyshyn

It is with profound sorrow that the family announces the passing of Leslie John Fedyshyn, aged 60, on July 7th, 2024 after a short courageous battle with cancer. He was a devoted partner to Andy, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Les was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he spent his formative years. He attended Shaughnessy Park and Sisler High schools. He moved to Portage la Prairie 22 years ago and lived there until his passing.

Throughout life he was known for the genuine love he had for his family, his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping all living things. He was a kind and generous man with the best sense of humor always making others around him laugh.

Les leaves to mourn Andy Stevens, his sisters, many nieces, nephews and cousins. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Les had requested that there be no service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Portage Animal Welfare Society P.A.W.S. 121 12 St NE, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 4A2.
