Kathleen "Kathy" Irene (Tardi) Fowler

We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Kathy Fowler (Tardi), at the age of 74, on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, at Portage General Hospital. She passed peacefully, with her daughter and close family friend by her side.

Kathy is predeceased by her husband Henry Fowler, her son Edward Fowler, parents Adelard and Jessica Tardi, her siblings, Martina Hogue, Louise Neydli, Anita Haacke, Ed Tardi, Ray Tardi, Roland Tardi, Alex Tardi, Jim Tardi, Robert (Bob) Tardi.

She leaves to mourn her daughter Liz (Richard) and son Rob and her siblings whom she loved very much… Jerry (Joan) Tardi, Joe (Nell) Tardi, and Tom (Lorraine) Tardi and sister-in laws Carol Tardi, Eleanor Tardi and other family and friends.

Kathy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was the youngest of 13 children. At seven years old she moved on the farm in Ashern, Manitoba and later moved to Eriksdale, Manitoba. She attended school and finished her Grade 9. In her adult years, she moved to Winnipeg where she met her husband. They were married in 1972 and lived in Winnipeg until 1987 where they ended up settling in Portage la Prairie with their two children.

Kathy was a member of Golden Plains Baptist Church for 32 years and made lifelong friendships there. She loved her children unconditionally and always supported them. She always had a smile on her face no matter what was happening in her life. She was full of joy that was contagious, and her faith was especially important to her, and it showed through her life.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Russel Price, Nurses, and Health Care Aids at the Portage General Hospital for their care of Kathy well in the hospital.

A Memorial Service for Kathy will take place at the Golden Plains Baptist Church, 1201 Tupper St. N, Portage la Prairie, MB, Thursday, April 7th, 2022, at 1:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.

There will be a Private Family Burial on Thursday, April 7th, 2022, at Hillside Cemetery, Portage la Prairie, MB.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ronald Moffit Memorial Services of Portage la Prairie, MB.
