Joan Babineau

Mrs. Joan Babineau, of Portage La Prairie, MB, peacefully passed unexpectedly on Monday February 11/19 at the age of 82 at PDGH

Joan spent over 36 years following her husband’s (Noel) Military postings such as: Germany, St. Jean QC, Senneterre QC, Valcartier QC, Edmonton AB and Portage La Prairie MB, where she retired after making a career at Kinney Shoes & Walmart.

Predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Noel Babineau, Joan is survived by her sons, Robert Babineau, Paul Babineau, daughter in law Marlene Riverin, granddaughters, Sarah Louise Babineau, Mikayla Lynn Grace.

Joan’s urn can now be viewed at “Hillside Memorial”, now resting eternally with her husband Noel.

Viewing of the body was unavailable as per her wishes.

The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers. Donations can be made to the “Heart and Kidney Foundation” in her memory.
