Gunther Gilberg

 After a courageous battle with cancer, Gunther Gilberg passed away at the age of 75 years.

Gunther was born in Germany, then came to Canada and found the love of his life, Margaret. He spent his life here doing hotel and restaurant work. He loved being with people. He was a quiet man, but had a huge heart.

Predeceased by his longtime companion Margaret Vrooman, his parents and sister, step-son Curtis Vrooman, and grandson Kelsey. He will be remembered by John and Kim, Kerry and Tammy, Barry and Colleen, and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gunther’s memory can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, or to a Charity of one’s choice.
