It is with profound sadness that the family regretfully announce the sudden passing of Gregory William White. Greg passed away at his residence on Dec 18th, 2025 at the age of 69.
Greg was the eldest son of Jim and Dorothy White of Portage.
Greg leaves to mourn his brother Glen (Sonia), nephews Andrew and Derek (Alexis) and great nephews Layton and Auden. Aunts Beryl McNish, Betty Kearsley and Hilda White, many cousins and very special friends Kathy and Paul Cheverie.
Greg was predeceased by his father, mother and infant twin brother.
Greg was a very sociable fellow who loved to talk to anybody that would listen, he had a kind spirit and loved to laugh. He loved to mow his lawn, drive around the family farm in his Side by side, going on his weekly trip to town with his friend Kathy, and loved his country music. When he was younger, he enjoyed going camping at Delta with family.
The thing in life that meant the most to Greg was his independence. He was so proud and happy to have his own house, on the family farm, beside his mom and dad and then later his brother. Greg’s life was full of challenges but he was a fighter and managed his disabilities with courage and tenacity. Greg will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all that knew him.
As per his wishes, a private family interment will be held at a later date.
