Gary Winistok Obituary

Family wish to announce the passing of Gary Winistok on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Portage and District General Hospital.  He was predeceased by his mother and father, Ella and Fred Winistok of Portage la Prairie.

Gary leaves to mourn his passing, his brother Stan (Tina) Winistok of Turner Valley, Alberta, neice and nephew Dana and Alan Winistok of Calgary, also nephew Dan Winistok and niece Wanda (Andrew) Lozeau.  He will be missed by many cousins and great nieces Olivia (Steve) Miller, Chloe Winistok and great-nephew Christian Lozeau.

We will always fondly remember our many many road trips seeing the sights and enjoying nature, visiting parks and countless lakes in Manitoba and western Canada.  He also loved music and listening to Stan's famous violin playing.

Thank you to all the nurses at the Portage General Hospital and a special thank you to all the staff with Home Care Services.

A private service will be held at a later date.

If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba 1379 Kenaston Blvd. Winnipeg, MB. R3P 2T5
