Gard was a quiet, hardworking man with the resolve and strength of a fighter who liked to tease and show his mischievous streak through that grin and smile in his eyes.
We all have fond memories and stories to cherish of Gard’s many interests throughout his life that he shared with Beth and the kids, his sisters and parents, dear friends, in-laws and relatives. These interests created many adventures and friendships over the years. They included his love and enthusiasm for farm life, animals, sports, hunting/fishing and auctions. His entrepreneur spirit fueled the farm businesses and ventures that he and Beth worked on together. His interest in the past and antiques, gardening and bird watching were enjoyed upon retirement.
