Fannybelle Millicent (Sanderson) Hourie

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Belle Hourie.  Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Lion's Prairie Manor early Thursday morning, October 19, 2018.

Mom will be missed by two surviving siblings, four generations of family, numerous  extended family and many family friends.

Mom moved to Portage la Prairie at the age of 15 where she worked, raised her family and spent her years surrounded by family and friends.

A private family interment will take place at Hillside on Friday, October 26, 2018 followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. in the Oddfellows Hall, 151 Royal Road North, Portage la Prairie. A reception will follow.

"Mom, you will always be loved by your children; Wayne, Russell, Kenneth, Lloyd, Sandra and foster son Barry.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lion's Prairie Manor for their care and compassion.

Memorial donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
