Born on October 30th, 1940 mom lived in the Kelvin District until venturing out on her own. Oakville had been home for the last 56 years. In April 2023 mom sold her home and moved to Dalton Grove in Portage la Prairie. Mom fostered many children over the years and remains close to one special young lady.
Mom loved to travel, and was fortunate to enjoy trips to Vegas, Arizona, Palm Springs, Hawaii, Mexico, Paris, many stops in Canada, as well as a riverboat cruise through Germany and an Alaskan cruise. For the last 10 years mom has enjoyed the summer seasons at Autumnwood Resort in Gimli, making new friends that were like her family away from home. Mom loved to socialize whether it be over coffee, happy hour or just over the phone. Mom's biggest joy in life came from spending time with her family and friends.
