Surrounded by loving family, Harvey passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4th 2026 at Douglas Campbell Lodge.
Harvey leaves to mourn his passing wife Rose, daughter Wendy, son-in-law Craig Ruemke and many locals in the Portage la Prairie community.
Harvey was born, and spent his life in Portage la Prairie, working for CN rail until his retirement in 1992. Ever busy, he loved maintaining the family home, helping on his in- law’s farm, and chatting with “his girls” at the local shops and businesses. His friendly cheerfulness made him many new friends later in life when he lived at Regency House and Douglas Campbell Lodge.
The family would like to thank the staff at Douglas Campbell Lodge for the care and support he received while living there.
A Private Family Interment will take place at a later date at the Hillside Cemetery, Portage la Prairie, MB.
