Graveside Service Announcement: the Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, July 13th, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved "Ma", memere, aunt and friend Edna "King" Renaud on Sunday November 26th at the age of 73 at the Portage General Hospital.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Mona (Brian) and Giselle. Her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends who helped her.
Edna was always a hardworking woman, who provided for her family. She worked at McCains for a while but spent many years at Itzke River Farm until her retirement. While employed she had met many many people whom she had maintained a friendship with.
Edna travelled to Mexico going on group tours where again she met a few people on the way. She did some local traveling, and to the west coast.
Ma would get excited when she got visits from Mona & Brian and in her eyes her favorite grandson Noah. She knew she was going somewhere maybe a shopping trip to the city or a ride to MTT for lunch and a little gambling. No matter where she was going or coming from, we had to make a stop so she could buy scratch tickets and only crosswords, hoping one day she would win the big one.
We would like to thank the Healthcare Professionals and staff for all the care and comfort you gave Edna during her brief stay.
If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever...Love always Mona, Brian and Noah.
Donations may be made in memory of Edna to a charity of one's choice.
Ronald Moffit Memorial Services of Portage la Prairie, MB in care of arrangements.
