Donna Claire Gilbert

Donna Claire Gilbert passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the age of 76 years.

Donna was born on December 10, 1942 in Portage la Prairie, MB where she spent most of her life. She lived in Lethbridge, Alberta and Delta, MB for a brief period of time in the mid 60’s.

She married Dalton Gilbert on August 19, 1961 and was predeceased by him on May 12, 2004. 

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Vi Cumberland, mother-in-law Estelle Gilbert, brother Murray Cumberland and sister Diane Hill-Hinse .

Donna is survived by her son Allan (Cathie) Gilbert and their daughter Elizabeth Claire, and granddaughters Megan & Ashley Gilbert all of Red Deer, Alberta. Daughter Sandy and granddaughter Nicole  of Portage la Prairie. Brother Milford Cumberland of Pitt Meadow, B.C., brother-in-law Gordon (Betty) Gilbert of Winnipeg and sister-in-law  Donna Cumberland. She also has several nieces and nephews plus great nieces and nephews. Also, Cathie’s four children and grandchildren.

At Donna’s request a private interment of her ashes will take place at Hillside Cemetery at a later date.
