Donald Switzer Obituary

Don was the second eldest son of the late Harold and Ellen Switzer. He is predeceased by his parents, and brother Hugh.

He is survived by his brother Bill (Lynda) Switzer, nephew Mike (Dianne) - children Marcus, Leonda and Simone, nephew Kevin (Vanessa) - children Kiara and Dominic, nephew Brent (Jess) - children Hunter and Forrest, nephew Cory – children Brooke-Lynn, Madison, Ethan and Lincoln, nephew Jerry – children Gavin and Matthew, brother Gordon (Ruby), nephew Clint (Alexis) – children Mia and Ryder, nephew Scott (Josie Eros) – children Waylon and Aurora, sister in-law Jeannie Kreutzer, nephew Jason (Naomi) – child Harper, niece Rhonda (John) Kohut – children Alex, Danielle, Eric, Greg, and Liam, nephew Jamie (Chantal) Brown – children Trent and Chad, brother Barry, auntie Kay Jack, uncle Ron & auntie Audrey Michaluk, Jessie Matikka, and all of his cousins.

Don grew up in the Gainsborough District. He loved playing baseball, fishing, and hunting. He worked on the pipeline jobs, and casual labor at Connery Farms. Later on, Don liked working with flowers.

The family would like to thank the Douglas Campbell Lodge and the Portage District General Hospital for the care they gave to Don.

There will be a private family internment at a later date.
