Dennis Nash Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dennis William Nash on November 23rd 2024 at the age of 47.

Dennis leaves to cherish his memory, his two sons, Tony and Eric Nash, his parents Shirley (Dave) Panko, brother Robert Nash (Debbie), sister Nicole Irving (Jason), nieces Kailyn Morris and Nevaeh Knott, nephew Tyler Morris, Father Bob (Carrie) Nash, grandparents Doreen Cardinal and Millie (Rod) Knott and mother of his sons Laurie St Cyr Nash, with many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother Gary Irving, Dad Bob Irving, grandparents Herb and Grethel Irving, Joe Barnes, Alf Cardinal, Del and Jean Nash and Cousin David Dean Panko.

Dennis was born on April 15th, 1977 in Portage la Prairie. He was raised in the Portage area where he attended School, but quickly learned school wasn’t for him, he knew he wanted to be out in the fields and working with his hands. He spent years working for Yellow Quill farms and acquiring his class one. He spent the rest of his working life driving truck for Gerrard Metals. Dennis made many friends and always had the most contagious smile on his face. You couldn’t help but laugh endlessly when he was around. Dennis was a very loving person who cared deeply for his family and had a special bond with his mom. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends around a campfire, listening to his boys singing and Eric playing the guitar.

The Funeral Service for Dennis will be held at the Herman Prior Center, 40 Royal Rd. N. Portage la Prairie, MB on December 16th, 2024 at 1:00 pm. A private family interment will take place at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Ronald Moffit Memorial Services.
