Delphin "Del" Lavallee Obituary

Del passed away at his home in St. Ambroise on Friday, November 1, 2002. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 42 years Anita, his 2 son's Wilfred (Myrna) and Ron along with his 5 grandchildren Channing, Chelsea, Wyatt, Christie and Zoe. His parents James and Delima Lavallee, 2 sisters and 1 brother pre-deceased Del. 11 brothers, 5 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews also survive Del.

Del was born, raised and farmed in St. Ambroise. He loved being outdoors and learned about nature by experiencing it in its entire splendor. When he wasn't busy working around his farm, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the special times he spent with his grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Portage Dialysis Unit and the Portage Home Care Nurses for their excellent care.

If friends so desire in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Portage Dialysis Unit in his honor.

"They that hope in the Lord will renew their strength,
They will soar as with eagles' wings;
They will run and not grow weary, Walk and not grow faint."

"Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, also believe in me.
In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself that where I am you may be also.
JOHN 14:1,2,3

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened and I will give you rest."
