Audrey Elaine (Murray) Trimble

It is with great sadness on May 17, 2020, Audrey Elaine Trimble (Murray) with her children by her side passed away. Mom married the love of her life Hal, spending 49 years together before his passing in November 2014.   She will be dearly missed by her children, Cora (Trevor), Richard (Angie), Anita (Virgil), Marshall (Melanie), and Candace (Abbie).   Grandchildren, Tanner (Nessie), Travis (Lacee), Kara (Willard), Jenna (Tanner), Riley (Janelle), Kent, Kirstin (Lasha) Evan, Kirk (Julianna), Phoenix, Dallas, Taylor, Rihanna, Angelz, Alyssa, and Raynor. Great Grandchildren, Paisley, Kambree, Kasey, Kinsley, Kenyen, Leela, Willow, and Logan.

Mom was born September 20, 1945, daughter of Charlie and Margaret Murray.   Mom attended Flee Island School in her younger years, then the family moved to Allandale District south of Edwin MB.  She attended Austin Collegiate and the Mrs. Yonda Business School, and then went to work at Portage Mutual Insurance.   On January 30, 1965 she married Hal Trimble.  They moved to Gainsborough District in 1968, where they raised their five children, eventually moving into town in 2014.  Throughout mom’s life she worked hard on the family farm milking cows and shipping cream.  Mom also enjoyed raising and showing Maine Anjou cattle. She enjoyed 20+ years as a 4-H leader where she loved helping and watching her kids show cattle.   Mom worked at CFB Portage for a number of years and when it closed, she opened Audrey’s Kitchen & Catering.   After the restaurant closed, she worked for several years cooking at Aramark and then Douglas Campbell Lodge.   Mom’s first love were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her love for family and cooking was apparent, and her love for flowers was obvious by the abundance of gardens.

She was predeceased by her father Charles in 1978, mother Margaret in 1987, also 2 brothers, Keith in 1969, Warren 2004, and nephew Mark Murray in 2016. Brothers and sisters in law Alf Pratt 1992, Pat Perry 2009, Gail Lazarenko 2013, Roddy Sharpe 2016, Ken Hickey 2016, Barry Green 2017 and Ida Trimble 2019.

 Left to mourn are her siblings Brian (Doreen), Wendy, Harvey (June), Alan (Gayla), Eric, Jimmy (Lois), Sandra Sharpe, Lynne Parker (Larry) and Blaine.   Brothers and Sisters in law Mary Trimble, Sharon Pratt, Tom Trimble, Gladys Green, Opal (Willard) Barnes, Steve Brook, John Lazarenko, Ken Perry and numerous nieces and nephews.  

The family wishes to send a big thank to all the nurses and doctors at Health Science Center, and special thank you to Dr. Finney. If friends so desire memorial donations can be sent to Central Plains Caner Care Services.   Arrangements entrusted to Ronald Moffit Memorial Services.
