Anne Stecky Obituary

Anne Stecky (nee Wereta), born March 23, 1941, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully on September 7th, 2020.

Anne leaves to mourn her passing, 5 daughters – Diane (Blake) Miller of Calgary, Donna (Don) McMillan of Portage la Prairie, Darlene (Cory) Pawluk of West St. Paul, Debbie Ens of Winnipeg, and Denise Ducharme of Portage la Prairie. Also surviving her are her 11 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Kendra Way in 2013.

Anne retired March 16th, 2020 from her employment as a Supportive Health Care Worker. Anne can be remembered for her infectious laugh. She loved to joke around with her family and friends. Anne lent a hand whenever needed. Not only was Anne known as Baba to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren but the community of Portage la Prairie fondly knew her as Baba too. She will be dearly missed.

A Private Family Interment will take place.
