Allan Roy Poschenrieder

On Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Portage and District General Hospital, Allan Poschenrieder, beloved husband of Millie (Jeffery), passed away at the age of 71 years. 

Allan was predeceased by his parents Henry and Pearl Poschenrieder, brother Art in 2013, mother and father-in-law Rose and Bill Jeffery of Oakville, sister and brother-in-law Joy and Billy.

Allan was born on February 16, 1946 in Winnipeg, MB., and raised on the family farm in Westbourne.

He will be missed by his wife of 48 years, Millie and little dog “Missy”, sister Joyce Gorzen, sisters-in-law Wilma Poschenrieder, Audrey Blais, Jennie Pearson and brother-in-law Jack (Corrine) Jeffery and many nieces and nephews.

Allan worked for the Campbell’s Soup Company and then the Portage & District General Hospital for ten years.  He enjoyed travelling through out Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northern Ontario in many fishing trips with Art and Wilma.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Highway Pentecostal Church, 1680 Saskatchewan Avenue West, Portage la Prairie with a reception to follow.
