Alfred J.A.J. Fillion

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Alfred Fillion on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the age of 84.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley, and his daughter Kim (Ken), his parents Edward and Rose, sisters Edna (Stan), Shirley (George), and brothers Edgar (Betty), Norbert (Connie).

Left to mourn his passing are his son Terry, his wife Eleanor, grandchildren Melissa (Glen), Simone, Blake, Brad, Rodney (Kelly), Meaghan (Steve), as well as 7 great-grandchildren and numerous family members and friends.

In memory of Alfred, have a Rye & Water to toast to his life. There will be no funeral service.

God saw him getting tired

  and a cure was not to be.

So he put his arms around him

  and whispered, "Come with me."

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,

  and saw him fade away.

Although we loved him dearly,

  we couldn't make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

  hardworking hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

  He only takes the best.
