It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Albert Reimer on April 16th, 2021. He was predeceased by his father Jakob Reimer and in-laws Bert and Minnie Zwiep. Albert will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years Wilma, and son Justin. Also mourning his passing, his mother Helena Reimer, brothers Peter (Helen), John (Ev), sisters Martha, Elsie (Stan), Rose, Miriam (Grant), Ruth (Serge), along with nieces and nephews, as well as the in-law Zwiep family. Joey, his truck riding buddy and family pet, will be missing him too.
Albert was born in Cuauthemoc Mexico, and emigrated to Canada in 1968 with his family at the age of 16. Albert worked at many jobs, SDS Drilling, MDC, Vicon, PMI, CanadInn, and at Airport Technologies, where he retired in 2017.
He was a Jack of all trades and lovingly helped his friends and neighbors. He enjoyed cruising around town in his '69 Chevy with Joey by his side, but most of all, he loved to fish!
Due to COVID restrictions, a family service and interment will take place at a later date.
Memories of a life we shared
Stay locked inside my heart,
There for all eternity
Even though we’re now apart.
