William Edward Boychuk

Suddenly on Monday, September 16, 2019 , William (Bill) Boychuk passed away at the Lion’s Prairie Manor  at the age of 91 years.

Bill was born in Buchanan, Saskatchewan and left home at an early age.

In the 1950’s he came to Portage la Prairie, and was employed as a mechanic for Frank Dahl’s Service.

He was later employed by the Eyvindson Farm until his retirement.

Bill enjoyed his daily coffee breaks at the A and W  Restaurant  where he met his friends.  The staff were very kind, which he appreciated.

Before moving to Lion’s Manor, Bill lived for a number of years at the Rotary Housing..

Predeceased by his two brothers and one sister, Bill is survived his special friend Barry Trick and other coffee buddies.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Crescent Heights Chapel, 1745 Saskatchewan Avenue East, Portage la Prairie with a reception to follow.  Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
