Maxim Nichols Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Max Nichols.

Max was born on April 2, 1933 and passed away peacefully on October 30, 2018.

He was a great husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend and teacher and role model to many.

Max worked in the construction industry throughout his career, and was a small business owner in MacGregor, MB.  Upon his retirement he moved with his wife to Portage la Prairie Bowes Mobile Home Park where he pursed his passions of flying his airplane and fishing.  During this time he also managed the grounds at the Bowes Park.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  Predeceased by his wife Janet of 62 years in May 2018,  He is survived by his Children; Della, Gloria, Daryl (Jill) and Bradley (Claudia).  Grandchildren Tara (Jason), Garret (Sherri), Justin, Tyler, Nicholas (Alex), Jordon and Jack.  Great-grandchildren  Liam, Ewan, Cole, Syren and Sage.

He is survived by his seven siblings, Edward, Violet, Bernice, Clifford (Mary), Mary Rose (Lionel), Jim (Barb) and Joan (Dave).

Predeceased by his sister Carol and brother Rodney, and parents Wallace and Rose.
