Barry Allan Whincup

Suddenly on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Portage and District General Hospital Barry Whincup, beloved husband of Barbara Mowat,  passed away at the age of 67 years

Left to mourn his passing, besides his wife Barbara, are step-daughters; Melissa and Stacy, one granddaughter Marcey and three brothers Rickie, Bryan and Glen and his sister Marilyn as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Barry was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Ida Whincup and one brother Wayne.

Barry had a special love for his dogs, especially Trixie.

Barry worked in housekeeping at the Manitoba Development Centre for many years.  For the past year he resided at the Douglas Campbell Lodge where he received excellent care.

At his request, no formal funeral service will be held.  The family will celebrate his life privately.
